As it's been almost 4 weeks since moving here, I decided to start writing about my life in the Okanagan.
It's been a busy time, and a lot of back breaking work, but I still have more to do than I have hours in a day...I'm running from one 'project' to another! Where I'm standing seems to dictate which job I tackle--and partway through one task, I'll start on another...
I'm doing FAR too many 'blue' jobs; as Bob is working in Alberta (along with most other husbands here, it seems!) and some jobs just can't wait for his monthly trip home..
In this blog, I plan to keep track of all my projects and post pics.
As well, I think I'll also mention the weather-too many Albertans have advised that I'll hate it here in winter. It's supposed to be very cloudy/foggy most of the time; but hey! it WON'T be -40'C!!!
I am thrilled to get back to more serious gardening here (well, of course I've already started) and so excited about living in this gorgeous area, surrounded by mountains, lakes, orchards and vineyards...and best of all, the reason we made this move, close to our daughter and son-in-law!
